Seven Mile

The team went on our 'annual' (flexibly annual) camping trip not so long ago! The team consists of me, Laine, Andrea and Allie - the four of us who sort of became a group of friends during college in Burnie. I've been best mates with Laine since we were about 6 or something, and met Allie in 2003 and Andrea in 2004 from being in classes with them. Anyway, the four of us gelled as friends, and to this day we are still a team. Laine came down from the north and we all went camping at Seven Mile Beach for a couple of days. The highlights were swimming in the dark at around 10pm, going for a sunrise swim (the pic is of Laine and I trying not to look cold, with the sunrise in the background), mysteriously finding sparklers and matches in the grass and playing countless rounds of cards in the sun.. also Allie and I listening to her iPod til the wee hours of the morning and trying not to get told off by Laine and Drea for talking too loudly. The only negative? The mosquitoes. Ick! They incessantly bit us and next time we will bring mozzie repellent for sure. But wow, it was so cool to hang out with Laine again. And just chilling and swimming and stuff for a few days was heavenly!
