Yay for summer

Wow, it was hot the other day. Mt Nelson was on fire, it was too close for comfort!! And then the eastern shore was on fire too. Before that, when only Mt Nelson was on fire, we went to the beach. Seven Mile and then Clifton, which we moved to cos it had more waves. Seven Mile was more my kind of beach, flat and serene and pretty! Only pretty, not gorgeous. None of the Hobart beaches are, we're gonna have to go up the east coast in the summer. Of course, my dear sisters and I will have to go camping at Freycinet again this summer, I am fully expecting them to. That was so much fun. I loved Hazards Beach, probably cos we'd walked through the heat to get there, whereas Wineglass Bay didn't appear so beautiful cos we hadn't powered up as many hills and stuff to get there. Although it was cool to swim at Wineglass, with its massive waves, and the tourists sitting on the beach looking at us like we were deranged. I'm loving that summer is here early! But if it was minus the bushfires, it'd be better..
